Summary
MS. Dodsworth 37, 1620, 270 leaves: 'Nomina eorum qui de Rege tenent ... hic sequitur'.: select abstracts of inquisitions post mortem, 1 Hen. iv-15 Edw. iv, transcribed from a register of 850 pages (probably that now numbered MS. 62 in Trinity college library, Oxford), in three concurrent series (fols. 1, 51, 239): preceded (fol. iii) by a 'tabula alphabetica [nominum virorum] pro libro ... excerpto ex libro domini...' [these last three words have been erased, and 'bundellis inquisitionum in turri Londinensi' substituted]. Fols. 11-40 are in the hand of Roger Dodsworth, who has elsewhere added marginal notes.
MS. Dodsworth 38, 1642-1643, 167 leaves: Extracts by Dodsworth from the MS. collections of sir Simonds D'Ewes, now among the Harleian MSS. in the British Museum, viz.:
