Folder 1: Notes on, and correspondence about, the Robertson family history and links to the Barker and Schuldham families, including some letters to Kate Louisa Kerr Clark, 1905-1906; 'The History and Martial Achievements of the Robertsons of Strowan' by Alexander Robertson, n.d., and 'A Brief Account of the Clan Donnachaidh with Notes on its History and Traditions', by David Robertson, 1893, both copied by Clark Kerr, 1911 and n.d.; postcards showing the Robertson and the Kerr clans' coat of arms, badges and tartans, n.d. [1900s]. Also includes a print of a coat of arms, 'Earl Ker', n.d.
Folder 2: Personal papers and memorabilia relating to family members: Duncan Clark, including a journal notes and drawings from Australia, 1861, and an account book with entries 1858-1859 and 1888-1891; John Kerr Clark, including a certificate declaring him Captain of the 35th Company of Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers, 1860; Struan Robertson ('Robin') Kerr Clark, including his birth certificate, 1876; Muriel Kerr Clark, including her passport, 1924. Also includes some Clark family letters, 1865, 1871, 1874; pages [from pocket diaries] with notes on the birthdays of family members; a pencil sketch by 'Baron Maclay' (possibly Nicholas Miklouho-Maclay), [1881]; and miscellaneous notes from the family papers. Also includes a drawing 'Arrival of the English Mail in Gullendaddy', 1868.
Folder 3: Hair samples of family members, including John Kerr Clark, 1905, Kate Louisa Kerr Clark, 1906, James and Agnes Clark and their children, c.1860s, Archibald Kerr Clark and his sisters Gwladys, Muriel and Mairi, n.d. Also includes memorabilia of Margaret Kerr Clark's wedding day, 1906, and dried plant samples 'April 28th 1870 Taormina' and 'First Forget me not grown at Clovelly', n.d.
