William Reed, bishop of Chichester (d. 1385) (?): see below; no ex dono inscription.

'J Ware', c. 1400, fol. 2r: presumably John Ware of Ugley, Essex, d. 1409 (Emden, BRUO, III, pp. 1985-6)

New College, Oxford: identifiable by dicta probatoria in the inventory of c. 1415 (CBMLC UO70.9: 'Augustinus de trinitate 2o fo. huius loci', but without reference to the present manuscript); listed in the inventory among the theology books given by William Reed (cf. R. Hunt, 'The medieval library', in New College Oxford 1379-1979 (1979), pp. 320-1).

Still at New College c. 1600: listed in T. James, Ecloga Oxonio-Cantabrigiensis (1600), as New College 233 (identifiable from contents).
