Summary

Newman writes briefly regarding Anthony returning home. With two lithographed lines 'I regret to say I am too old to attempt to answer letters'. Annotated by Maria Hungerford Pollen and a further hand quotes Maria Hungerford Pollen saying that the letter 'has not left my writing desk for 23 years'.
