Fol. 1. Harl. MS. 294, artt. 1 (fol. 1: pedigrees from inquisitions post mortem), 2-4, 7, 10 (fol. 73: notes from plea-rolls of Edw. i), 11, 39-41, 44-8 (fol. 66v: Bury St. Edmunds registers), 57, 58. fols. 17-24 are misplaced after fol. 32

Fol. 81. 'Liber placitorum domini Simondes Dewes', containing extracts from the Curia Regis rolls and some assize rolls of Henry iii

Each volume is preceded by an index of personal names, by Dodsworth and by Thomas lord Brudenell, respectively.
