Summary
A few notes of proceedings from 1609 to 1635 are prefixed.
From 1656 to 1661 the manor was in the hands of the marquis of Dorchester, several of whose original precepts for holding the courts are contained in the volume; from 1662 to 1672, of Dr. Walter Jones, prebendary of St. Paul's; and from 1673 of Dr. Thomas Hinchman.
