Summary
Prefixed are the following poems:
(fol. 1) An address to Almighty God. Beg. "My God, to Thee I dedicate / This simple worke of mine."
(fol. 7b) "Of suffering and bearing the crosse." Beg. "Oh! can that soul that loves her God / For very shame complaine."
(fol. 10b) "To our blessed Laidy the advocate of sinners." Beg. "All haile, O Virgin, crowned with starres, / And moone under thy feet.
A prayer follows, in which the writer intercedes for her parents "who have placed me here in Thy house," and for the convent to which she belongs. No names are mentioned, and the upper margin of the first leaf, which appears to have contained the writer's name, has been cut off.
