'Sir James Murray, of the Oxford English Dictionary' by Harold J.R. Murray, c.1930s-1940s, photocopy of unpublished typescript. Includes a family tree.

Various obituaries and memoirs written about Sir James Murray, 1915-1956; Correspondence between Betty and Robert [son of Jowett?], two grandchildren of James Murray, regarding his pronounciation, 1979; Photocopies of a poem about an owl and a parody of 'The House That Jack Built', possibly written by James Murray or a member of the family.

Collection of family postcards, c.1901-1914, collected by Madeline née Murray, granddaughter of Sir James A.H. Murrary. Mainly postcards from Sir James and his children to Madeline and her parents in Cape Town.
