Summary
'Epistle to the King, written in May, 1801, but never yet printed': a poem, beg. 'Beloved King, a muse, at court unknown', with two shorter pieces added. Prefixed (at fol. 4) is a paper bearing some verses entitled 'The Tears of Scotland' (beg. 'Mourn, hapless Caledonia, mourn'), perhaps written after Culloden.
