Summary
Comprises:
(fol. 5v) '... Lystoire de Thebes', or, as the colophon, 'La destruction de Thebes', preceded by an introduction, which beg. 'Deuant que Rome fut fondee.'.
(fol. 26v) '... Lystoire des batailles qui furent entre les Grecs et aultres roys & de la vaillance de Hercules de Theseus ... ': beg. 'Apres ce que Thebes fut destruite.'.
(fol. 30v) '... La vraye Ystoire de Troye la grant ... toute complaitte sans riens abreger': called at the end 'La Destruction de Troyes la grande': on fol. 39 part of the text is wanting. This is stated to be a French translation of the Latin work by Guido de Columna, which was itself based on Benoit de Sainte-More's Roman de Troie.
