On fol. 10b. is the following endorsement by Rawlinson, clearly legible although a leaf has been pasted over it. "May 13, 1728. This draught of King James IId's will, with the marginal notes under the handwriting of the ld. chancellor Jefferys, was given to me by Mr. Lockyer, clerk of Leathersellers' Hall, into whose father's hands that chancellor's papers came. Witness my hand, Ric. Rawlinson."
