Beg. "It was only infinite goodness that moved God to create man after his own image and similitude."

On a fly-leaf is affixed a book-plate with the following inscription: "Johannes Collet, filius Thomæ Collet, pater Thomæ, Gulielmi & Johannis, omnium superstes, natus quarto Junii, 1633, denasciturus quando Deo visum fuerit, interim hujus proprietarius."
