Folder 1: Papers relating to MacNeice's time at the British Council in Athens, 1950-1951. Includes correspondence about producing T.S. Eliot's The Cocktail Party as the season's play for 1951; MacNeice's personal expenses form, and receipts; a report by MacNeice 'Activities 1950'; event programmes and leaflets, including for recitals by Hedli MacNeice; miscellaneous notes and correspondence.

Folder 2: Correspondence with academics, literary societies, publishers etc. relating to MacNeice's visits to, and joint recitals with Hedli MacNeice in, the United States, 1953 and 1954.
