William Stukely (1687-1765). Paginated by Stukely up to p. 81: pp. 1-12, 23-7, [85-9] missing, now 69 pages, originally 8 gatherings of 6. There are included arrangements of airs from operas copied from printed collections and single sheets. For solo flute unless otherwise stated. Contents, not including incomplete pieces:

Physical facet

Watermark resembles Heawood 356 but the countermark is the initials GP. Ruled with 5 staves to a page; red margins. Bound in calf, decorated with thin gold tooled rolls and ornament of flowers in vases at corners of inner panel. Gilt stamped, in 20th-cent. half red morocco box. The word 'Prints' is in ink on the cover, and there are signs throughout of their having been at one time lightly parted over the music.

Keiller MS. 19. Sold by Mickepher Rawlins, whose label is inside front cover. Owned by 'Wm. Stukely M. B. ex dono Hen: Heron Ar. 1714'. On p. i is a list of the prices of a tea set dated 28 Oct: 1717.
