Durham, Benedictine cathedral priory of St Cuthbert: On fol. 2r in usual hand: "Libellus de nativitate sancte Marie e communi libraria monachorum Dunelm. .D.". (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).

"Aug. Lindsell ex dono amicissimi Antonii Maxton". (MLGB3)

Medieval binding, with pattern on fore-edges. On end flyleaf (fol. 134v) the name of Hugo Whythede (Hugh Whitehead, later prior of Durham). Mynors no. 115. (MLGB3)

Erased inscription of ownership (scē mar legible). From 'the common library of the monks'-'e communi libraria' etc. Old shelfmark, D at beg., and Cuth (= Cuthbert) on opposite p. Both 'owners' were prebendaries of Durham. Stated to have belonged to Durham cathedral. Manuscript 1962 acquired by the Bodleian Library
