This volume, together with two others containing the Lives of Wiclif and Fisher, was purchased by Sir Peter Thompson at the sale of Lewis's MSS. for £6 16s. 6d.; and appears (from the prefatory notice in the Clarendon edition) to have been obtained by the Delegates of the University Press from Mr. W. Clarke, a London bookseller, at the same time as the Life of Wiclif, which had been bought by him at the sale of Sir P. Thompson's library.

Acquisition

In 1827 it was transferred to the Bodl. Libr. at the price of £8 8s.
