Summary
Hodgkin House was an international hostel for overseas students created from the merger in 1984 of two previous hostels, Meridian Hall and St Brigid's House. The combined hostel was named Hodgkin House as a tribute to Thomas and his long devotion to Africa. A history of the hostel (enclosed) by C.W. Robert 1990, refers to the naming and to a visit by Hodgkin (pp 16, 18). Includes a later letter, 1994.
