Vol. 1 (b. 15), lettered 'Documents', contains certificates of baptisms and marriages of members of the Nicholson family, official copies of their wills and other family documents, and, from fol. 51, MS. papers and printed cuttings illustrating the career of the compiler, Mr. E. W. B. Nicholson, with particulars of his own family.
