Comprises:
(fol. 1) The Commentarii de Bello Gallico, by C. Julius Caesar: with the 8th book commonly ascribed to Hirtius: ends 'una a. cn. pompeio altera', a few lines being lost
(fol. 79) The Commentarii de Bello Civili, in three books, by C. Julius Caesar: beg. 'eadem spes prouinciæ', the first lines being lost
(fol. 116) The treatises De Bello Alexandrino, De Bello Africano (fol. 124v), De Bello Hispánico (fol. 142), the two former sometimes ascribed to Hirtius.
(fol. 1) is a later leaf in the place of a leaf bearing an illumination. So too a leaf is wanting after fol. 78, and illuminations have elsewhere been cut out, and inferior paintings pasted in their place.
