Summary

(fols. 1-124) '[Die Heimkehr] aus der Fremde' [MWV L6], performed on Christmas day, 1829. Orchestral parts of the Overture (fols. 1-31) and of nos. 1-14. Nos. 11 and 12 are in a different hand in all parts, and the trumpet parts of no. 14 (fols. 120 and 122) are in F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy's own hand.

(fols. 125-422) Op. 74, Athalia. Vocal parts. Fols. 130, 301 and 411 are in the hand of Fanny Hensel.

(fols. 423-490) Op. 93, Oedipus. Vocal parts.
