With a dedication by him to William Cavendish, earl of Newcastle (fol. 1)

Fol. 12. an appendix of evidences contained in the muniment-room at Welbeck (see MS. Dodsworth 49) and among the public records, transcribed into this out of other volumes of Dodsworth's collections

At fol. 62 is a pedigree of the families of Halton and Carnaby, of Halton in Northumberland

MS. Dodsworth 19, 1600, 144 leaves: 'The Names of most of the Nobilitie with there Creations, from William the Conqueror's tyme untill the yeare Anno Domini 1586': beg. 'Clinton alias Clintone, Earl of Winchester'. This appears to be a copy, without tricks of arms, of the English Baronage of Robert Cooke, Clarencieux King at Arms, with annotations by Roger Dodsworth.
