The memoirs break off in mid-sentence on fol. 60v, and are followed by (fols. 61-100) a copy of Mme de Starck's journal of a visit to Potsdam, Sept. 1797, mainly a detailed description of the palace and art gallery, including (fols. 74-84, 85-92) two slightly differing versions of part of the journal. A loosely-inserted letter from Sir William Jones to Mme de Starck, 1791, has been transferred from fol. 53 (where it is transcribed) to MS. Beckford c. 35, fol. 112
