Written in humanistic script by Guido Galeazzo de Pretis at the age of fifteen, fol. 83v.

Decoration

Good historiated initials. Sketch, 16th century. (Pächt and Alexander ii. 395, pl. XXXVIII) fol. 1r initial T: Germanicus Caesar and Ovid fol. 13r initial I: Janus (head with two profile faces). fol. 27v initial B: Mars (man in armour holding a spear). fol. 42r initial A: Venus as a young woman in red dress; Cupid blindfolded, holding bow and arrow; another winged putto fol. 70r initial H: Young man in short tunic.
