(fols. 1-15) a full shelf-list of 'manuscripts belonging to James P. R. Lyell', compiled at his home in Abingdon by N. R. Ker and R. W. Hunt before the selection of manuscripts for the Bodleian, [1949], with added notes about their eventual dispersal to the Bodleian and elsewhere
(fols. 16-76) miscellaneous papers concerning individual manuscripts not now at the Bodleian, mostly n.d. but including letters dated 1901 and 1933 and descriptions of manuscripts bought 1933-42, found in disorder and rearranged in roughly alphabetical order.
