Binding
Polished brown leather, the upper cover stamped in gilt with the Coke crest; the spine lettered in gilt 'PETRI DE PALODE | LIBER DE | SENTENTIARUM || MS. | SÆC. XIV.'; the upper board detached.
Provenance
The Dominicans of Fiesole , 15th century (after 1405, the foundation date), with their ex libris: 'Istud scriptum super quarto Sentenciarum Petri de Palude est conventus sancti Domini de Fesulis ordinis predicatorum (fol. 229v), and, in a rather later hand 'Istud scriptum ... Petri [super] quarto Sententiarum pertinet ad conventum Fesulanum ordinis predicatorum fratrum quod sciunt ffrater Anthoninus de Florentia et frater Petrus de Arimin[i]o eiusdem ordinis' (fol. 1r); St. Antoninus of Florence was a member of the Fiesole convent 1406–9, and returned as prior, 1421–4.
Inscribed, 16th century: '64' (fol. 1r, next to the later inscription noted above).
