Summary
Sends a paper in justification of himself in the matter of Lord William Russell's paper, which the Lord Privy Seal advises him not to print.
On the back, Bp. Compton has written the passage respecting non-resistance, which was proposed for insertion in Lord Russell's speech on the scaffold, but omitted; which is printed at p. 213 of his Life by Lord John Russell, 1819.
