15th century, end, Italian (as MS., manual for the Franciscan nuns of Sant’Onofrio, Florence): wood boards, inside bevel; dark red leather, blind-tooled with lines, dots and strapwork to form a circular (front) or cross-shaped (back) centrepiece; spine lost; two strap-and-pin fastenings from front edge to pins halfway across back, with elaborate brass catches but straps replaced; edges plain. Reback and new straps, 18th century?, Italian. 263–265 186 c. 22–23 (book closed).

The Constitutions are:
A papal document of 1289 (in Latin and Italian: fol. 7)
Another undated from pope Clement, in Italian (fol. 28v)
'Indulgentie plenarie que habentur in quibusdam ecclesiis principalibus in urbe Roma ... quas sanctissimus pontifex Sixtus papa quartus concessit imperpetuum venerabilibus religiosis sororibus Tertii Ordinis beati Francisci habitantibus in loco seu monasterio sancti Onofrii alias de Fuligno. In ciuitate Florentie ... anno Domini Mccccolxxvj. die. xii. mensis Julij' (fol. 30)
At fol. 45 are '...li Ordini che anno a obseruare tutte quelle saranno acceptate in nostra congregatione', in Italian, added a little later.
