The title page (fol. 12) with large red capitals. Folded tags.

Musical notation

Square notation on staves of 4 or 5 lines.

Binding

White leather on boards twice re-used, 14th century, first half; spine restored.

Acquisition

Bequeathed by him to the Bodleian.

Provenance

Use of St Chad, Shrewsbury.

Marginalia suggest that the manuscript remained at St Chad's until at least 1539.

Owned in the late 16th century by Henry Spelman (1564?-1641).
