Summary
The following title is prefixed: "Compiled for the better obseruation of the holy rule of the most glorious father and patriarck Saincte Benedict, confirmed by the ordenarie authority of the right honorable and right reuerent father in Christ the lord Mathias Hovius archbishop of Machlin and primat of the Netherlandes, etc.: as also by authoritie from the Pope his holynes delegated to him; and by him deliuered to the English religous wimen of the monastarie of our Blessed Ladie the perpetuall virgin Marie in Bruxelles and to all ther successoures." In three parts. The confirmation by the archbishop is dated 27 Jul 1612.
On a fly-leaf at the beginning it is noted that this copy was written "for my lady abbesses use" in the year 1627.
