Includes an original letter from Philipp Veit to his nieces, n.d.; a letter from Joseph Abraham Mendelssohn to Philipp Veit, 1812; a photocopy of a poem by Moritz Veit for Friedrich Hegel's birthday, 27 July 1826; a photocopy of a letter of protection ('Schutzbrief') for the Veit family signed by Frederick II of Prussia (Friedrich der Große), 1764. With some notes in Konrad Braun's hand.
