On a leaf at the end of the volume are the following entries:
Latin lines on the dangerous days in each month of the year, excepting August; beg. "Pallida luna pluit, rubea flat, alba serenat. / January. / Prima dies mensis et septima truncant ut ensis."
"A plaine declaracion of a iust magistrate and true subiect to his countrey;" 26 lines on the duty of a magistrate; beg. "Mans harte and mynde can nott be tryed, / Nor inward thought be fully spied, / Before he hath in office benne, / And of the lawes the force well seene."
