Fol. 17: Offer of the command of the Nigerian Constabulary, 9 Mar 1895.
Fols. 18-35: Letter from Goldie to Flora Shaw, 15 Mar 1895, enclosing a statement made to the Native Races and Liquor Traffic United Committee on 27 Feb, with a pamphlet, "The Background of The Times article, 'The Colonies'", Journal of Commerce, Liverpool, 4 Mar 1895.
