Historiated initials with strapwork, e.g. fol. 117r: 'O' containing ox before the gates of Oxford, spire in background with cockerel, flying birds. 'C' containing angel with coat of arms. Royal coat of arms outside the initials
Acquisition
Wood, who died on 29 November 1695, left his manuscripts and printed books to the Ashmolean. The entire collection was transferred to the Bodleian in 1860.

Oseney Abbey. Passed after its dissolution to:
