Folder 1: Letters of condolence to Hedli MacNeice on the death of Louis MacNeice, 1963. Correspondents include, William Alwyn, George Barker, BBC (Stanley French, Peggy Sproson, Lawrence Gilliam, Norman Macdonald) 'Sue' [Digby Furth], E.R. Dodds, T.S. Eliot (Faber and Faber Ltd.), John Hilton, James Hurley, Koch, James Liddy (Arena), Helen and Bill Mcalpine, Dermot T. McCarthy, Kate O'Brian, Dian de la Pena, Monica Richardson, Rosemary Seymour, William Kean Seymour (The Poetry Society), Brother Denis, Stephen Spender, Louis Thelusson and many unidentified. Also includes radio scripts of The Dark Tower and Autobiographical talk by Louis MacNeice as broadcast by the BBC after his death.
