'THo. AllenDono Dedit', i. e. a gift from the antiquary of Gloucester hall, Oxford, in 1601. It was borrowed by the Parliamentary Commissioners of 1647 (Macray's Annals of the Bodleian, 2nd ed. (1890), p. 105), and reclaimed from the Archives in 1653.
