Summary
Hodgkin was invited to attend a symposim at the Lilly Research Laboratories, Indianapolis, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of insulin. In conjunction with the Lilly symposium she took part in a course on diabetes held at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she gave a paper on the structure of insulin. Hodgkin also declined an invitation to participate in a symposium on proteins held at Cold Spring Harbor, New York.
