Folder 1: 'Entschädigungsamt. Erbschaftsansprüche.' Proceedings relating to refund of confiscated property and compensation for other material damage, such as property, money and assets from the estate of Felix Friedmann-Braun; compensation for special charges for Jews ('Judenvermögensabgabe', 'Heimkaufsbetrag', 'Auswandererabgabe', 'Zwangsabgabe an die Jüdische Gemeinde'); compensation for confiscated household effects, silverware, bank assets, mortgage payments, stocks and bonds; compensation for limitation of freedom ('Freiheitsbeschränkung'), especially for having to wear a Yellow Star ('Sternträgerentschädigung') for Gertrud Friedmann-Braun, Johannes Braun and Hildegard Braun; compensation for damage in professional career progress and for loss of earnings for Hildegard Braun and Johannes Braun, 1951-1960. Includes lists of bank assets, stocks and bonds, household effects etc. of the Friedmann-Braun Family pre-1942; CVs and other information about the careers of Hildegard Braun as a singer and music teacher and of Johannes Braun as an actor, and a statutory declaration by Josephine Heermann and Marianne Heermann about the financial circumstances of the Friedmann-Braun family and household effects at Kurfürstenstrasse 119 before confiscation in 1942. Verfahren vor dem Kammergericht, 41 WGA 1345/51, 41 WGA 47/54, 41 WGA 48/54' – Proceedings before the superior Court of Justice ('Kammergericht') regarding compensation for the loss of bond loans held by Felix Friedmann-Braun, and from 1934 by his heirs, at Amsterdamsche Bank N.V, 1951-1966.

Begonnen Oktober 1930' – file originally kept by Felix Friedmann-Braun regarding bond loans held at Amsterdamsche Bank N.V, Amsterdam, starting 1930. Includes account statements, correspondence with the bank, and notes in Felix Friedmann-Braun's and Konrad Braun's hand, 1930-1935.
