Summary
Nicholson attended the 11th Pacific Scientific Congress, [?Tokyo], Aug-Sep, contributing to the main Congress and to its Special Symposium No.4 held in Kamikochi, 5-8 Sep. He also spent a few days in Sendai and undertook a number of excursions during the course of the trip. Some of his engagements appear to have included International Biological Programme (IBP) business.
Correspondence regarding arrangements including a letter from the IBP; proposed schedule for stay in Sendai; programme for Special Symposium No.4 (on 'Ecological Basis of Nature Conservation of Alpine and Sub-Alpine Zones'); maps of National Parks.
