Sch. e. 389 is quired generally in fours; watermark, Fleur de Lys; ruled with 10 5-lined staves to a page. In white board covers. 2. MS. Mus. Sch. e. 390 is quired in fours; watermark, Fleur de Lys; ruled with 8 5-lined staves to a page. MS. Mus. Sch. e. 391 (1) is irregularly quired; watermark cut; ruled 10 5-lined staves to a page. MS. Mus. Sch. e. 391 (2) is quired in twelves; watermark, three crescents; ruled with 10 5-lined staves to a page. Speckled calf binding with inlay and blind fillets and corner ornament; gold ornament on spine.

This item is part of the Music School collection of printed and manuscript music, which was originally bequeathed to the University of Oxford by William Heather (c 1563-1627), and gradually added to until the end of the 18th century.
Acquisition
