Includes letters and postcards from Alan Bennett, Eileen Hose (secretary of Cecil Beaton), Richard (Dicky) Buckle, Sylvia England, Jill Day-Lewis, Richard Avedon, Father Derek Jennings, Hugh Casson, Adrienne Corri, John Gielgud, Lady Antonia Fraser, Terence Conran, members of the royal family [=Closed], and Edmonton County Grammar School teachers Doris Staples and [A-] Williams. Includes a typescript copy of Roy Strong's diary entries about Cecil Beaton (1968-1980) with a covering letter (1984), Strong's memorial address for Charles Harvard Gibbs-Smith, and printed ephemera relating to Roy Strong's honorary degrees at the Royal College of Art and the University of Leeds (1983).
