File 1, items 1-2: Report on education in the French mandated territories and a report of the Jamot Mission on the measures taken since January 1929 to combat sleeping sickness in the French Cameroun, 1922-1930.
File 2, fols. 1-9: Notes made by Lugard on reports on the French Cameroun and Togo, with a letter from James Deemind of John Holt & Company about the danger of the French granting trading monopolies in their mandated territories,1923-1924.
File 3, fols. 1-55: Conventions ratified by France and the United States concerning extradition from the French mandated territories, definitions of French powers and the right assumed by the French Government to recruit troops from those territories, 1923-1925. Also the report of the Sixth Committee on the work of the Permanent Mandates Commission covering those territories in 1925 (typescript copies).
