(1) view of Noqui, Portuguese Congo, below Matadi
(2) flotilla of tiny canoes, Baringa beach, upper Congo
(3) path through gorge and village on sea shore, St. Paul de Loanda
(4) lighthouse on rock, near Cape Verde, group of islands
(5) sunset at Cape Lopez, shewing [sic] river steamer of Ogowé
(6) Benguella pier whence slaves are shipped to Cocoa Islands
(7) rowing boat pulling hard against the current above the Devil's Cauldron, lower Congo. Forced to abandon journey and return down stream
