Summary
Transcript of an Old English homily, 'De fide Catholica', in MS. Bodl. 342 (O. C. 2405), p. 38: beg. 'Æle Cristen mann sceal æften rihte', made by William Brome of Ewithington or Withington. Ballard corrected the copy by the original on 2 Aug. 1748, and on fol. iiv writes an account of mr. Brome, incidentally alluding to the original as among the Junius books.
