Acquisition
Though not in the Benefactors' Register, it was no doubt given by the dean and chapter of Exeter in 1602, since it was in the Library by the end of that year. ( MLGB3: inferred evidence).
Provenance
Exeter, Devon, Cathedral church of St Peter: this MS. was certainly in Exeter cathedral library in 1327 and 1506 (see the inventories of those dates printed by Oliver)
