Summary
1st violin part only in a copyist's hand. The title has been crossed out in pencil by the composer and replaced by the work's final title '"Shropshire lad" rhapsody'. Presumably used for the first performance (Leeds, 2 Oct 1913), when the final title was decided upon only shortly beforehand (see George Butterworth, 1885-1916 (1918), p. 113).
