Provenance

Italian script and parchment, as noted by Hunt in the revised Quarto catalogue. Hunt also suggested, apparently on the basis of the draft letter on fol. 73r, that this was one of the manuscripts acquired for Laud in Germany. Its German provenance, if this hypothesis is correct, is unknown; it has not been identified in the medieval catalogues of Eberbach or Mainz.

William Laud, 1573–1645, 1638.
