Acquisition

The collection of Sir Gore Ouseley was purchased by the Bodleian in 1858.

Provenance

This MS., part of a volume with Arabic, Persian, and Hindi tracts, and an essay on music by Alstedius with interlineary Persian trans., belonged to Col. Polier, and this part, with the treatise on music, was eventually purchased in London by Ouseley.
