Acquisition

Given to the Bodleian as part of his third donation, dispatched on 28 June 1639.

Provenance

William Laud, 1573–1645: The present book consists of three fascicles, or rather booklets, A–C, which were possibly consolidated only in the course of the Laudian Binding, in the late 1630s. Ex-libris inscription of Archbp. Laud, dated 1638, at the lower half of fol. 1r.
