Summary
Fols. 1-334: Letters from Frederick and Flora Lugard to Edward while they were en route to Hong Kong and domiciled there. The cover states that these letters were "of a very personal and private nature - but could be used confidentially by a biographer - showing the human side". Edward Lugard also recorded that he had re-read the letters and destroyed a few in 1938 and that he re-read them "with delight, Dec. 1945", i.e. after his brother's death.
