Summary

Written by sir Erasmus Harby, of Aldenham, Herts.

Amongst other papers are some relating to the farmers of the customs in 1638, to the sugar farmers in 1661, and to the farmers of tin, 1621–1674, sir Job Harby, father of sir Erasmus, being in all these cases one of the contractors; together with twelve questions propounded to the duke of Buckingham by the House of Commons, 14 Jan 1674.
